\nThe Halo chip scanner reads all 10 and 15 digit chip numbers. The 15-digit chips (type FDX-B) are the standard in the EU for animal chipping.
\nThe 10-digit chips (type FDX-A) are used in the US, among others.
\nThe scanner can be used for reading chips in horses, sheep, dogs, cats, etc.
\nThe Halo chip scanner is equipped with an internal lithium-ion battery. This can be recharged via a USB via the PC.
\nWith a fully charged battery, between 650 and 700 scans can be made.
\nThe scanner is compact and fits comfortably in the hand and can take a beating.
